Contact rivets from NESPER meet the highest requirements in switching systems – from small to high-volume series. Manufactured on proprietary, self-developed machines, holding the tightest tolerances as solid or clad bi-metal rivets, optimized for your application.
For over 60 years, we have been designing, producing and integrating contact rivets for demanding applications. Using our own forming machines and tooling, we manufacture solid and clad bi-metal rivets with extremely tight tolerances – up to the limits of what is dimensionally feasible. Whether a small pilot series or millions of parts: NESPER delivers consistently high quality and process-reliable results that integrate seamlessly into your assembly and inspection environment.
Contact rivets provide ideal prerequisites to meet the specific requirements of switching systems. They are the first choice when standard materials or “exotic” materials are used – for both small and very large volumes.
We manufacture our contact rivets in accordance with DIN 46239, DIN 46240 and DIN 46241 – in Forms A, B and C, as well as customer-specific special designs. Geometries, dimensions and material build-ups are engineered to a given project’s specifics.
To ensure long-term stable switching performance, we design contact rivets according to material and functional requirements. Based on your switching profile (current, voltage, AC/DC, switching frequency, arc behaviour), we recommend suitable contact materials and layer structures – e.g. AgNi, AgSnO₂, AgCu, AgPd or Au, including bi-metal / clad solutions with nickel barrier layers. We also consider mechanical loads, temperature, corrosion and your manufacturing process.
With NESPER Cleaning© we ensure the required surface quality.
The result: an economical, process-reliable contact pairing with low contact resistance and long service life.

NESPER manufactures solid rivets for demanding connections where maximum strength and precision are required. Whether for electrical, mechanical or thermally stressed applications – our rivets provide durable stability and exact dimensional accuracy.
Depending on requirements, we produce solid rivets from various metals and alloys, e.g. silver and silver alloys, silver tin oxide alloys, gold and copper. Manufacturing is carried out on highly precise, in-house designed equipment.
Your benefits:
NESPER bi-metal rivets combine two different materials into one optimized unit – merging electrical conductivity with wear resistance. The resulting solutions meet mechanical and electrical requirements equally.
Intelligent material combinations
Our bi-metal rivets typically consist of copper, silver and silver tin oxide alloys – tailored to the respective contact, switching or sensor application.
Your benefits:
We implement solid and bi-metal rivets including feeding and inspection technology, tailored to your application – automatable and economical at any volume.
